SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:

The Northern Raiders Midget Football Club was developed by a team of experienced, certified and dedicated coaches to provide an organized football experience for youth of Airdrie and the surrounding rural communities and competes in the Calgary Midget Football Association.

All participating teams in the Calgary Midget Football Association are self funded and operate independent of each other, purchase and maintain their own equipment, carry a roster of approximately fifty players.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

One of the key elements to maintaining a team at this level is fundraising and sponsorships. Members of our team partake in various fundraising activities such as bottle drives and pizza sales in order to raise funds necessary for the maintenance of our equipment, replacememnt gear, as well as the purchase of equipment needed for practice and development. This is no easy task as the cost to develop this program in our first year was approximately $24000.00, and that was for the basic equipment necessary to field a team.

The Northern Raiders are currently looking for sponsorships and donations from various persons and corporations. Not only does this allow us the opportunity to continue on with this program, but it also allows us to help our athletes become the very best that they can be.

BENEFITS OF BEING A SPONSOR:

There are many benefits to becoming a sponsor of the Northern Raiders. The most important being that you have helped a community organization that is headed up by volunteers reach out to the youth of our area. We not only are enabling the athleticism of these individuals, but we are also showing them the importance of community involvement and pride in themselves as well as the community they live in. By sponsoring our team you are also taking an active role in the love of these individuals.

Game Day Sponsorships.....................................$200.00
Bronze Sponsorship..........................................$1500.00
Silver Sponsorship............................................$3000.00
Gold Sponsorship..............................................$5000.00
Platinum Sponsorship....................................$10000.00
Diamond Sponsorship....................................$10000.00 per season for 5 years

As a team, we look at various ways in which to honour our sponsors. Sponsorships are acknowledged on our website. Perhaps you have charity events in which our staff and players can attend and help out. We offer links on our website to your company website. For sponsorships in the Silver to Diamond levels, our executive members would prefer to meet with the corporation in order to discuss what we as a team can give back to you. This also allows us the opportunity for photos, which we would then pass on to our local newspapers for public acknowledgment.

GIFTS IN KIND:

Our team is also looking for individuals or corporations who may prefer to purchase equipment in lieu of a cash donation. Our wish list is long and includes:

Equipment bags, parts and tool kit for the sidelines, practice gear (blocking dummies and shields, sleds), kicking tees and cages, footballs, cones, and whistles.
